You may have the input and output cord backwards. Our pedals have the input on the right and the output on the left. Try connecting the cord from the guitar to the right hand plug and out to the amplifier from the left plug. Be sure to use good quality cords, avoid kinked, bent, frayed or rusty loose feeling cords

Check your power supply, it needs to be a 9V, 1 Amp. Anything higher than 9V 1 Amp will damage the pedal and will void the warrantee.

Unfortunately no. Our pedals can be powered externally by a 9V battery and adaptor but we highly do not recommend to do this as you may damage some of the sensitive components. We recommend a good quality plug in filtered 9V power supply.
